Monday Qualifying

2020 Monday Qualifying

Monday Qualifying is one of the most exciting days of Championship Week, each and every year. The thrill of “tin cupping” your way into the USDGC has created extremely memorable experiences for players, staff, and fans alike.

Register Online at DGU

Monday Qualifying rounds will be held on October 5, 2020 on the Winthrop Gold Course. Pre-registration is not required, but it is encouraged. Registration details will be posted here as soon as they are available.

You may attempt to qualify as many times as you wish until 2:00pm. You do not have to finish your round in order to start over. It is $50 for the first round and $25 for each additional round regardless of how much of your round was played.

Ezra Robinson was one of the 2018 qualifiers.

Playoffs Not Uncommon

The top 5 scores after all rounds have been submitted will qualify for the USDGC. In the case of a tie, a sudden death playoff will determine the winner. Tee off will be handled on a first come, first served basis and ends promptly at 2:00pm – any round started after this time will not be eligible.

PDGA membership is not required for Monday Qualifying rounds. However, you must join the PDGA or renew your membership in order to play in the USDGC.

USDGC competitors looking to practice on Monday may join a qualifying group for a fee of $25. The course will open officially for practice at 2:00pm. Groups must begin on Hole 1 and be courteous to all qualifying groups still on the course.
