2015 Qualifying Info

Last year’s USDGC had it all: overtime to determine the US Champion, the first female to take the Performance Flight, and an awesome over-the-lake distance showcase to wrap it all up.

Ready for more? It all starts with Open Flight qualifying, which kicks-off sooner than usual (Jan. 29th – Feb. 1st) at the Aussie Open (major) in Mundaring, Australia.

Along with the Open Flight, The USDGC (Oct. 7th-10th), will again feature the Performance Flight, where many players get their first crack at the famed Winthrop Gold Course.

After the Aussie Open, Open Flight qualifying continues with all PDGA National Tour events, the rest of the majors, plus four other marquee events. By October, the best of the best will once again have USDGC invitations.

Paige Pierce turned many heads when she shot lights-out en route to her historic Performance Flight victory.
2015 Performance Flight spots will be awarded similar to last year. PDGA State, Province, and Country Coordinators are asked to select an event within their region that provides the greatest opportunity for local residents to qualify. Applying Performance
Scoring to the event is encouraged but not required. Coordinators may also select a deserving individual. Contact your coordinator for more info.

Though 2014 is behind us, the USDGC is still on the minds of many, especially after last year’s finish. And, it’s a safe bet that the 2015 USDGC will be another one for the books.
