Canaan Disc Golf Adventures, Rock Hill’s newest disc golf wonder, will be open and free to USDGC players and spectators Tuesday Oct 6th through Friday Oct. 9th
Opened this past summer, the disc golf courses, which are located on an island surrounded by the Catawba River, will likely become a disc golf destination with the masterfully carved fairways, unique pin placements, and incredible views of the nearby river.
Take advantage of this free week sponsored by Camp Canaan, a summer camp/retreat operation, who owns the property. Normally, play is only open during the weekend and costs $6 per day. Season passes are also available.
Online registration on Disc Golf United is required for all rounds and you must bring a copy of your registration confirmation with you.
You may tee off from 9:00am through 2:00pm. Tee off is first come, first served and all rounds must be finished by 5:00pm.
Designed by Winthrop Gold designer, Harold Duvall, the two courses have 20 holes and two sets of tees each. The Sandhills Course is great for the novice golfer, while the Riverbend Course (par 67) will test you at every turn and will surely make a lasting impression.
