USDGC Official Weather Update — Oct 8th

Championship Week is officially underway at Winthrop University!

We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for the weekend, particularly Sunday, and want to reassure our fans that the USDGC and Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship are proceeding as scheduled.

Disc golf is an outdoor sport, and competition continues in normal rainy conditions. Lightning, severe weather, or other unsafe conditions may require a temporary suspension of play or adjustments to the competition schedule.

The safety of our athletes, spectators, volunteers, and staff will always be our highest priority.

At this time, no schedule changes have been announced. We will continue monitoring conditions in coordination with tournament officials and our event safety team.

Should any changes become necessary, we will communicate updates through our official USDGC channels as quickly as possible.

We’re looking forward to an incredible week of championship disc golf and welcoming fans from around the world to Winthrop!
