HOW SPOTS ARE AWARDED
Already eligible? Competitors who are already USDGC-eligible are excluded from the qualifying process.
Tied for the final spot? The tournament director should hold a sudden-death playoff. If a playoff is not possible, the spot goes to the player with the lowest final-round score.
Playing a division other than Open (MPO)? You may be eligible if you compete on identical days and on the same course layouts as MPO. Each event’s tournament director decides whether non-MPO divisions may qualify.
One earned spot per player. You may qualify only once at the official events listed above. Earned spots are not transferable.
