Prepare to be wowed at the Big Arm Big Heart distance showcase near the Pro Shop, which is set for Wednesday after the last putt from round 1.
The five distance finalists from the US Distance Competition on Tuesday will take part in the showcase that annually dazzles the crowd with monster drives across the Winthrop Lake.
The showcase is also a worthy cause, since each throw could land in the special DISCatcher basket (across the lake) and raise $5,000 to support Throw Pink, a non-profit that raises awareness for breast cancer and women’s health while encouraging women and girls to stay active through disc golf.
In 2014, Jeremy Koling proved it’s possible to land in a basket when he landed safely in a Traveler basket. Find out if any of our long bombers can make a drive worth $5,000 for charity.
